The KEEP ABREAST 5k Walk, 5k/10k Run and Community Expo brings hundreds of breast cancer patients and survivors from all over the Bay Area together to lace up their sneakers and rally family, friends and neighbors to raise funds to support those who have battled breast cancer.
The day starts with a moving opening ceremony that includes the release of doves by a circle of breast cancer survivors. After this uplifting moment, participants “hit the trail” and then return to visit the Community Resource Expo featuring sponsor and community booths.
15th annual KEEP ABREAST 5K Walk, 5K/10K Run, Community Expo
If you were unable to participate on September 27, but would like to make a donation, we would be grateful for your support! You can still make a donation and help support our efforts.
Our Community Expo is a wonderful addition to the KEEP ABREAST event. A variety of businesses, non-profit organizations and service providers come together to showcase items, practices and tips you can use — all promoting health and wellness!
This year we are thrilled to announce that our friends at the East Bay Community Foundation will match up to $20,000 raised on our online donation page. Every little bit counts. Your donation will help breast cancer survivors go from surviving to thriving. Please help us achieve our goal.
